Montezuma Oropendola

The Montezuma Oropendola has rich chestnut-brown plumage contrasted by a deep black head and upper back. Its long tail is especially striking, with brilliant yellow outer feathers surrounding darker central feathers. Bare blue facial skin, a pinkish wattle, and a long dark bill tipped in orange-red add unexpected flashes of color to its otherwise earthy palette.
